Powerhouse Arts Presents the Inaugural Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair
The not-for-profit Powerhouse Arts (PHA) pushes forward on its commitment to creative expression by introducing a new, print-focused fair: the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair (BFAPF), taking place from March 27 to 30.
The fair stands as a critical new entrant in the New York art fair circuit and seeks to expand opportunities for print producers and sellers of all types, growing an already-vibrant ecosystem of fine art print production and publishing with new opportunities to cultivate collectors and grow their market.
BFAPF welcomes over 75 exhibitors and will also host print-focused workshops and demonstrations throughout the fair’s run, including a Stone Lithograph Demonstration by the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and a Prints vs. Posters Battle Royale talk with Angelina Lippert, Executive Director and Curator at Poster House, and Nicholas Lowry, President of Swann Auction Galleries.
Additionally, BFAPF will showcase three “Generator” booths in a special invitation-only section that offers participants a subsidized booth to help ensure reduced barriers to entry. This year’s Generator booths are Du-Good Press, a Black female-owned fine art screenprinting studio based in Brooklyn; Praise Shadows Art Gallery, a contemporary art gallery based in the Boston area with an art books program and mentorship opportunities for young talent; and Crow’s Shadow Institute for the Arts, a non-profit art center organization founded in 1992 with a mission to support Native American artists and communities.

BFAPF ticket holders at the $250 VIP Collector Level will receive one of four different limited edition images produced on the occasion of the fair. Other perks at this ticket level include: entry for two to the VIP Opening Night Benefit on Thursday, March 27, from 6 to 9pm, access to the Fair through Sunday, March 30, and an invitation to the Ace Hotel Brooklyn After Party on Friday, March 28.
Purchase a VIP Opening Night ticket to enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres, a vibrant atmosphere, and an exclusive first look at the fair during the VIP Opening Night Benefit.
One-day passes are available beginning on Friday, March 28.
