European Product Design Award (EPDA)

Launched in 2017 with its inaugural ceremony at the European Parliament in Brussels, the EPDA has grown into one of the most comprehensive design competitions worldwide, accepting entries in more than 800 categories across product, industrial, interior, architectural, and communication design. Both professionals and students compete for recognition, evaluated by the same independent jury panel, ensuring a single consistent standard of excellence across all entries.
Entry fees range from 200 EUR for students to 400 EUR for standard submissions, with a 1,000 EUR Express option for entrants who wish to receive results within 7 days. The 2026 edition marks a milestone: for the first time, winners from three consecutive years, 2024, 2025, and 2026, will be honored together in a single ceremony in Venice, Italy, on October 18. Submissions are accepted for both realized and conceptual projects.

The European Product Design Award (EPDA) is an international design competition open to professionals and students worldwide, closing for 2026 entries on August 20. Winners are judged by an independent jury of over 30 design professionals from more than 58 countries.

Winners receive publication in the EPDA annual winners’ book, digital visibility on the EPDA platform, international press coverage, and an invitation to the 2026 winners’ ceremony in Venice, Italy. An official EPDA trophy is available for winners to order separately.

Open to designers, design studios, agencies, manufacturers, and students worldwide. Entries are accepted in more than 800 categories across product design, interior design, architectural design, communication design, and conceptual projects. Both realized and conceptual/prototype designs are eligible.
