Tech and Appliance Black Friday Home Deals
This is the absolute best time of year to buy a TV, an air purifier, vacuum, coffee maker or any electronic device. There is a lot to wade through right now, so we’re focusing on what we believe are the best buys per retailer on the Internet right now. Peruse the offerings from Amazon, Wayfair, Dyson and more—but don’t wait too long, many of these deals expire by midnight on Monday December 2.
Amazon
Time and time again, the mega-retailer has proven that it has some of the best early access deals around. We’ve spotted thousands of products on markdown in the home category, whether you’re looking for discounted smart Wi-Fi TVs, Dyson vacuum cleaners, or standing desks. Our tried and true? Bestsellers like Levoit Air purifiers and humidifiers or a KitchenAid stand mixer. Even our very favorite bath towels and bed sheets from the retailer are at the lowest price we’ve seen this year. Read our full Amazon Black Friday story to see what else we’ll be snagging throughout the weekend.
Wayfair
Much like Amazon, Wayfair always offers unbeatable prices on an extensive inventory of products. The major retailer already keeps things pretty affordable, but their Black Friday deals really knock things out of the park (see our full story on that here). Checking out all the low prices on decor is a good place to start, but don’t forget deals on other bigger items like mattresses, appliances (we see you Dyson cordless vacuums and deeply discounted Ninja blenders), and more.
Dyson
The holy grail of home tech is offering up to $300 off their wares as we speak. While it applies to select items only, we spotted quite a few AD favorite vacuums and air purifiers with slashed price tags, including the Absolute cordless vac and the multitalented Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde. We can say with the utmost expertise that these are some of the lowest prices you’ll see on Dyson goods all year. If a vacuum is all you have eyes (or budget) for this Black Friday you can see all of our faves on sale in this vacuum specific story.
Samsung
Name a classier TV than the Frame, we’ll wait. The Yves Behar designed product was an instant classic when it debuted in 2017, and we’ve been spotting it in countless celebrity homes (and homes of stylish non-famous people) ever since. If you’re eager to try one for yourself, every size is discounted (up to $1,000 off the largest models). Their stylish cordless vacuum, the Bespoke Jet (a favorite of our contributor Terri Williams) isn’t too hard on the eyes—or wallet, for the time being–either. Terri praised the Bespoke Jet’s self-emptying, self-charging capabilities saying the machine “takes the cleaning process to another level.”
Black Friday Home Deals: Furniture & Decor
If new furniture is on your shopping list for the next year, there is truly no better time to purchase than right now. We might not see prices this low again on sofas, sectionals (more on that here), dining or office chairs and tables of all shapes and sizes until next Cyber Week. Hop to it with some of our favorite trusted retailers, listed below.
Serena & Lily
Open the Serena & Lily homepage and you’ll find one simple message: “Sale of the year.” The coastal-inspired retailer is discounting high quality furniture, bedding, and decor with various markdowns.
Castlery
Castlery is running a buy more save more deal on furniture finds like an MCM-style dining set or equally charming TV stand. We dedicated an entire story to the pieces we’re eyeing while the sale lasts.
Pottery Barn
There are literally thousands of products on sale at Pottery Barn right now, but we did a little digging and found the best of the best, if we do say so ourselves. You can pick up great toy storage, bedding, and furniture for the smaller people in your life for the best price all year. We are also partial to their area rugs and this chic stainless steel ice bucket. Check out our full Pottery Barn Black Friday roundup here or enjoy this pared down selection of favorites below.
Anthropologie
Now’s the perfect time to stock up on on-trend luxury furniture and decor at Anthropologie. The retailer’s early Black Friday deals are sweet, with up to 60% off sale items. On our list? Ornate credenzas, swirly tapered candles, statement mirrors, and plush armchairs.
West Elm
Show me a design lover who doesn’t have at least a few pieces from West Elm and I’ll show you one surprised home editor. For those who also find themselves constantly shopping the Brooklyn-based brand’s minimalist bedding and reliable mid-century modern style furniture, we’ve got good news—the home brand is currently offering up to 70% off a selection of their stock. That is not a small discount, so spend it wisely—perhaps on something from their Billy Cotton collection or their beloved Dalton sectional!
Branch
When we asked around about the best ergonomic office chairs, contributor Terri Williams told us the Ergonomic chair from Branch “looks as good as it feels.” Use code BFCM to save up to 30% and get free shipping on any order from Branch.
Article
Article has has come through with up to 40% off a selection of their stock right now. Whether you’re redecorating the living room or upgrading your home office, you can now get up to 40% off stylish furniture for every room in the house—and they‘ve added new discounts since the sale kicked off earlier this week, so keep checking back. Their sofas are already affordable—and we know for a fact that they’re well made—so this is your time to make it happen.
SSENSE
If you try plan your year around SSENSE’s confusing sale schedule, you’re in luck—right now, save up to 50% off select items that’ll make great gifts for everyone on your list or even a nice pick-me-up for yourself. And did we mention they carry great furniture pieces as well?
Design Within Reach
Not to exaggerate here but this is pretty much unheard of: The entirety of DWR’s stock is 25% off right now. There are iconic pieces from Noguchi and Herman Miller on sale (including the cult-favorite Aeron and Embody office chairs) as well as modern classics like the Sarah Ellison Muse Sofa and all things Muuto and HAY. If that’s not enticing enough, you’ll find hoards of midcentury sofas, coffee tables, and modern accessories like rugs and tableware from Knoll and handful of other brands that are all an extra 5% off with the code SAVE5.
Soho Home
If you’ve ever wanted your house’s decor to look like the inside of Soho House without the membership fees, now is your chance. The London-based social club sells its own line of home goods (Soho Home) inspired by the decor it uses to outfit its physical locations across the world, allowing members and non-members to keep the social spirit alive without actually visiting a Soho House in person. While each club has a distinct personality, the through lines remain the same, giving each one a familiar feeling while still being inspired by its location, such as London, New York, Barcelona or Los Angeles. Right now you can save 20% off the entire range of categories, which include furniture, textiles, accessories and dining products.
Arhaus
This is Cyber Week furniture deals at their best: Save up to 20% off during the Arhaus Cyber Monday sale. The deals apply to holiday decor, home accents like throws and pillows, and tons of high end furniture, including staff faves like the Kipton sofa. Here is a snippet from AD Pro associate director Lila Allen’s review of the Kipton to get you moving in the right direction: “I find this sofa to be really cushy and enveloping, but let’s be clear: This is not an upright and formal sit,” she says of the piece. “It’s lazy and low, but still supportive. My feet tend to dangle toddler-style if I’m facing forward and really sinking into my slouch, but an ottoman (or coffee table—sorry, mom) fixes that. When I want to be more upright, I find myself sometimes sitting cross-legged, and have plenty of support through the back cushion. The upholstery on the frame is tight and flawless.”
Revival Rugs
One of our very favorite rug makers is offering up to 30% off sitewide as we speak! We just wrapped up testing their Hart Jute area rug and it received the accolade of “best Just Rug” when all was said and done. Here is what senior digital design editor Zoë Sessums enjoys about the piece: “I love a jute rug as a neutral, durable, area rug,” she says. “This one softened up a multipurpose guest room/office that’s frequented by cats who enjoy clawing the furniture, a.k.a. this rug can handle some claws and not look worse for the wear. This large, affordable rug is the perfect way to add texture to a space without dominating the design, and it seems incredibly durable.” Speaking of affordable, this particular model is $75 off for an 8’x10′ rug.
Sixpenny
At this point we have maybe lost track of how many AD editors have Sixpenny products in their homes (global editorial director Amy Astley even has one in her office!). We have tested many Nevas, Oleas, and Esmé’s from the brand—and the reviews are all positive! Good thing the Brooklyn-based brand is currently offering 20% off sitewide. Take it from Zoë Sessums once again, who has had the Neva sectional sofa in her home for several years.
“Two-year update: My Neva sectional has continued to be a wonderful piece of furniture and you would never guess that I’ve had it for this long,” she says. “It’s amazing that all the cushions still have so much oomph—I don’t feel like any of them have less fullness or support. My cats love sleeping on the top of the back cushions, so sometimes I have to perk them up and squish the fill around—but it always springs back. I’ve had many houseguests, many dogs, and many children enjoy the sofa. It’s held up for tall friends sleeping over, it’s held up for small children pretending it’s a trampoline, and it’s held up when a new dog decides to chase my cats across the cushions. This sofa feels nearly indestructible!”
Black Friday Home Deals: Bedding & Mattresses
Planning to spend a good amount of time under the covers in 2025? Us, too. And for that we’ll all need the best foundation possible: fresh sheets, great loungewear, and a nice set of towels to wash the day away. There is something you should probably know about us: we love sleep. So much so that we’ve tested upwards of 30 mattresses and sleep-related products, all in the name of making sure you have recommendations you can rely on. Much like furniture, Cyber Week is the time to invest in a mattress at a discounted price if you’re looking to enter the new year with a new sleep setup. A few (OK, quite a few) of our favorite are below. And we also have a dedicated roundup of all of the best Black Friday mattress deals we have come across.
Cozy Earth
If you’re searching for some super-cozy sheets, bath towels, or loungewear, check out Cozy Earth’s early Black Friday sale. We’re partial to the cooling bamboo sheet set, which features a sateen finish that feels silky to the touch whenever you snuggle in. Commerce editor Audrey Lee was taken with her set immediately: “Sleeping on these sheets felt like being draped in a luxuriously lightweight silk that often had me wishing I didn’t have to get out of bed in the morning” she says. “At first, I immediately noticed how next-level soft the bamboo viscose fabric was and how nicely the fitted sheet clung my bed.”
Parachute
A wide swatch of Parachute products are deeply discount right now, from the brand’s cozy duvets to the crowd favorite robe that made our Editor’s Picks gift guide. While the brand offers percale and linen, it’s their Cloud products that really set them apart from the crowd. “I’ve never felt more luxurious than when I wrap myself up in this cushy robe post-shower,” says commerce producer Lauren Arzbaecher of her Cloud Cotton Robe. “Wash after wash, it’s stayed super soft.”
Avocado
The Black Friday sale season is hands down the best time to buy a mattress. Get quality, organic sleep in time for the holiday season with up to 20% off a top-rated Avocado mattress or 10% off accoutrements like a mattress topper or pillow. Looking for more fabulous mattress savings? We‘ve got you covered there, too.
Boll & Branch
If you’re on the hunt for classic and luxurious bedding to curl up in (and who isn’t?), you can find select styles available at some mega discounts on Boll & Branch. Save 25% on orders over $300 with the code CYBER25. Contributor Erika Owen recommends the Hemmed Duvet Set, “especially if you’re a hot sleeper prone to night sweats” or one of their organic sheet sets.
Buffy
Buffy, creators of the original Cloud Comforter (tested and reviewed by us!) and lighter weight little sibling the Breeze, are offering 25% off sitewide for Cyber Week. If you haven’t given Buffy a try yet, here is a sneak peek at what senior digital design editor Sydney Gore had to say about the Cloud: “I’ve been using this comforter since the brand dropped it in 2017 and have never looked back. It’s light, soft, breathable…everything you would ever want in a comforter that stays on your bed all year round.”
Ralph Lauren
If your taste skews more Americana—or you want to channel Yolanda Hadid’s Texas ranch—you might want to see what classic Ralph Lauren styles are currently up to 40% off for the holiday weekend. Go nautical with some striped bedding or deck the halls with a They’ve also discounted great glassware and very giftable decor so you can get your holiday shopping done simultaneously.
Saatva
Whether you’re looking for a light bedding refresh like a fresh new pillow or a total overhaul of your sleep setup (we’re talking mattress, bed frame, the whole deal) Saatva’s very good Cyber Week sale is the place to go for luxury bedding at solid discounts.
Morrow Soft Goods
No one does color quite like the team at Morrow Soft Goods. The brand excels in earthy neutrals that don’t feel crunchy granola and remain elevated. We’re also fans of their checked, striped, and ticking patterns. Right now, select items on the site are 20% off. Items that are marked as final sale are 30% off (a fair bet if you’d like to stock up on old faithfuls!). The sale runs through December 3rd and we have a feeling stock is limited, as it tends to be with smaller and more homegrown brands, so get to it.
Nectar: Up to 40% off everything
If you’re looking to score a new mattress (at a discount!), consider one of AD’s most decorated sleep brands, Nectar. The Nectar mattress, which has received the top mattress award in our Sleep Awards is a somewhat unbelievable $917 off during Cyber Week. Not one but two of our staffers–senior SEO manager Katie Henwood and digital features editor Nick Mafi–have slept soundly on their Nectar purchases and we can recommend it without hesitation. If you want a one-stop-shopping experience, you can also pick up a new bed frame to support your investment.
Coyuchi
We have put Coyuchi linens to the test and, so far, they have stood both the test of time and the test of design editors. Global features director, Sam Cochran, described the organic relaxed linen sheets this year as “heavy, quality linen,” and this set, along with everything else at the luxe linen brand is 25% off, plus free shipping.
Balsam Hill
The perfect artificial Christmas tree does exist—and you can find it at Balsam Hill, along with and all the trimmings you need to nail your holiday decor. We’ve tested several of their trees ourselves and can attest to the quality and longevity of their products, so you might want to act fast because they do in fact sell out.
