Bao Loc House Follows a Rural Slope Toward the River

Tad.atelier’s Bao Loc House stands in suburban Bảo Lộc, where the agricultural landscape remains legible despite the pressure of urbanization. The small residence begins with that setting rather than treating it as scenery around an isolated object.

The site descends gently toward a river. This terrain gives the project a natural direction and lets the house establish a closer relationship with the ground and the wider rural landscape.

The architectural idea is one of continuity: domestic space is introduced without erasing the qualities that already define the place. Topography becomes an organizing condition, while the surrounding fields retain their role in the experience of the house.

On the suburban edge, that restraint matters. Bao Loc House treats the existing landscape not as leftover land awaiting development, but as the primary resource from which the project takes its identity.
