A hotel Inspired by Kaş, turkey

The new Radisson BLU Hotel Kaş, located in Antalya, Turkey, is designed by Öznur Çağlayan to capture the essence of the ancient and vibrant town of Kaş. Situated along the Mediterranean coast, this project reflects the unique character of Kaş, where historic charm meets modern vitality. The hotel‘s design respects the city’s silhouette while addressing the growing demand for innovative accommodation.

Kaş is celebrated for its tranquil streets, ancient ruins, and pristine blue waters. With its deep connection to history and culture, the town has become a magnet for modern tourists seeking both relaxation and discovery. The design of Radisson BLU Hotel Kaş began with a thorough study of the region’s topography and flora, resulting in a structure that seamlessly integrates with its surroundings. Private Mediterranean Retreats

Turkey-based architect Öznur Çağlayan dedicates the hotel’s first zone to luxurious villas, each offering a private pool and terrace. These secluded spaces prioritize privacy and relaxation, embodying the Mediterranean’s distinctive architectural style. Permeable facades and a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces create a calming environment informed by openness and order.

The second zone features a vibrant hotel block designed for social interaction and entertainment. Positioned on a hillside, this area opens broadly out toward panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The use of natural stone in the walls ensures the building is in dialogue with the local landscape. Communal spaces, including the reception, lobby, and lounge, are designed to encourage connection and relaxation, with a focus on spaciousness and modern design.
